Karuvepillai Pachadi Recipe – Curry Leaf Raita

Karuvepillai Pachadi Recipe is essentially a Curry Leaf Raita which has creamy yogurt flavoured with a freshly ground masala of curry leaves, ginger and green chillies, topped with a tadka of crispy fried curry leaves that adds to the flavour and texture of this raita. 

Course : Side Dish

Ingridients : 1-1/2 cups Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)

Salt , to taste
For theKaruvepillaiPachadi Masala

1/2 cup Curry leaves , tightly packed

1 inch Ginger

1 Green Chilli

1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)

1/2 teaspoon Whole Black Pepper Corns
For the tempering

1/2 teaspoon Oil

1/2 Mustard seeds (Rai/ Kadugu)

1/2 teaspoon White Urad Dal (Split)

2 sprig Curry leaves

1 Dry Red Chilli
