Farali Dhokla – Kuttu Ka Dhokla Recipe
Farali Dhokla – Kuttu Ka Dhokla RecipeĀ is made of Buckwheat Flour or Sama Flour. Dhokla is an Indian dish popular in the state of Gujarat and it resembles a cake. It is steamed in a pressure cooker or a steamer.Ā Kuttu Ka Dhokla is made from a blend of sama flour and buckwheat flour which is soaked in some yogurt and water. Indian spices are added to add more flavour to the dish.

Ingridients : 1 cup Buckwheat Flour (Kuttu Ka Atta)
1/4 cup Sama Flour (Little Millet)
1/2 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
1 Green Chilli , ground to paste
5 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , finely chopped
3/4 teaspoon Enos Fruit Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
Salt , to taste
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder , to sprinkle on dhokla
Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , chopped for garnish
1 tablespoon Fresh coconut , for garnish
Oil , as required
Instructions To begin making Farali Dhokla – Kuttu Ka Dhokla Recipe combine theĀ buckwheat flour,Ā sama ke chawal,Ā yogurt, chilli paste,Ā coriander leaves,Ā black pepper,salt to taste,Ā in a large mixing bowlĀ and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes.Stir in a tablespoon of oil and the enos fruit saltĀ into the batter.Ā Grease Dholka plates and pour the dhokla batter, sprinkle red chilli powder on the batter and steam on high heat in a Dhokla & Idli SteamerĀ for about 10 to 15 minutes until done.Ā A tester when inserted in the centre should come out clean.Garnish yourĀ Farali Dhokla – Kuttu Ka Dhokla with coriander leaves and fresh grated coconut and serve.ServeĀ Farali Dhokla – Kuttu Ka DhoklaĀ along with a spicyĀ Dhaniya Pudina Chutney.
