Let the kids help to assemble this breakfast station sharing board before tucking in. It’s a great way to start a special day, such as Christmas Day

12 smoked or unsmoked bacon rashers200g natural yogurtdrizzle of honeylarge handful of fresh mixed berries (we used raspberries, blueberries and halved strawberries)250g soft cheese250g smoked salmonsmall handful of lemon wedges1 avocado, peeled, halved, stoned and slicedknob of butter10 eggs, beaten50ml double creamsmall bunch of chives6 croissants, warmed6 bagels of your choice, toasted
STEP 1Fry the bacon in a dry frying pan over a medium-high heat for 2 mins on each side, or until crisp. Spoon the yogurt into a small bowl, drizzle with honey and place on a shallow dish with the berries alongside. Spoon the soft cheese into a second small bowl, season with black pepper and put on a shallow dish alongside the salmon and lemon wedges. Put the avocado slices and bacon on another plate. Arrange all the dishes on a large serving tray, leaving space in the middle.STEP 2Melt the butter in the frying pan over a low-medium heat. When foaming, pour in the eggs and stir with a spatula until set to your liking. Stir in the cream. Season. Tip into a bowl, scatter with the chives and put in the centre of the tray. Serve with the warm croissants and bagels.
