Make the most of your air-fryer to make perfectly cooked pork belly, with crispy crackling and tender meat. Energy efficient, it’s a great way to cook the dish

750g – 1kg pork belly1 tsp vegetable oil½ tsp garlic granules
STEP 1Heat the air-fryer to 200C. Pat the pork belly dry with kitchen paper or a clean tea towel, then score the top of the fat, being careful not to cut all the way through. Rub with the oil and season well with salt, pepper and the garlic granules. Lift the pork belly into the air-fryer, skin-side up and cook for 30 mins, until the skin starts to crisp up.STEP 2Turn the heat down to 180C and cook for a further 20-30 mins until the pork is cooked through and the skin has had chance to crisp fully.
