Lehsuni Methi Paneer Recipe – Garlic Methi Paneer Curry

There are variety of deliciousĀ paneer dishes that you come across in restaurants, mainly in North IndianĀ Restaurants. Lehsuni Methi Paneer dish is one of those dishes in which Paneer is cooked with Kasuri Methi and Garlic creamy gravy.

Course : Dinner

Ingridients : 250 grams Paneer (Homemade Cottage Cheese)

1 tablespoon Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)

3 tablespoons Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)

1/2 cup Fresh cream

1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder

1/4 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)

Salt , to taste

1 teaspoon Ghee , for cooking
To Be Ground To Paste

8 Cashew nuts

4 cloves Garlic

2 Green Chillies , chopped

1 inch Ginger , chopped

Instructions To begin making the Lehsuni Methi Paneer recipe, soak the cashews in a bowl with 1/4 cup water for about an hour.After an hour, grind cashew along withĀ ginger, garlic and green chillies and the soaked cashew water make a smooth paste and keep aside.In a big bowl, add cashew ginger garlic and chilli paste, fresh cream, curd, garam masala, cardamom powder salt and whisk well to form a smooth mixture.Ā Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat; Add the cashew cream mixture, the chopped Paneer cubes and simmer for about 5 minutes.Add water to adjust the consistency of the mixture while it’s simmering. Check the salt and spices and adjust to taste accordingly. Finally stir in the kasuri methi, cover the pan and turn off the heat.Allow the flavours of methi to get infused into the Lehsuni Paneer Methi sabzi.Ā Transfer the Lehsuni Methi PaneerĀ into a serving bowl and serve hot.ServeĀ Lehsuni Methi Paneer RecipeĀ along withĀ Smoked Makhani Dhaba Style Dal,Ā Jeera Rice,Ā Tomato Onion Tadka RaitaĀ andĀ Garlic NaanĀ for a house party.
