Start the day the right way with a nutrient-packed oaty breakfast – full of stomach-friendly fibre, great for digestion

Serves 4 easily halved
100g porridge oat2 eating apples, peeled and grated½ tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra for sprinkling500ml skimmed milk2 tbsp ground linseed150ml pot probiotic yogurtdrizzle of honey or agave syrup
STEP 1In a medium saucepan, mix the oats, apples, cinnamon and milk. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, then turn down the heat and cook for 4-5 mins, stirring constantly.STEP 2Stir in the ground linseeds, then divide into 4 breakfast bowls. Top each with a dollop of yogurt, a drizzle of honey or agave syrup, and a sprinkle more cinnamon.
